Yesterday, we took part in a consultative meeting involving Senior Counsel and Rarieda Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Otiende Amollo. This meeting was focused on advancing legal and legislative protections for vulnerable groups, especially, widowed persons.

HAPPENING NOW: Our high level national multi-stakeholder roundtable convening of land sector State and non-State actors is currently underway in Nairobi.

We are in Tana River County for a series of land governance and women’s land rights activities. The region faces deep-rooted land governance challenges stemming from historical injustices, extractive economic activities, and gender inequality in land ownership.
