This morning, Barnard Elementary’s Dr. Grace Reid sat down with @DCAllisontv alongside @DCPSChancellor to share what it means to be named ✨Outstanding School Leader of the Year✨ at this year’s Standing Ovation.

DC Public Schools will open as planned on Tuesday, February 3. DCPS afterschool and athletic programs will follow their normal schedules.

DCPS will open following a two-hour delay on Thursday, January 29 and Friday, January 30.

DGS’ Snow Team continues salting & clearing DC govt properties to assist in this joint city-wide effort until the work is done. Director @delanohunter was out with our teams as they remain fully deployed clearing snow & ice at DCPS parking lots to ensure safe passageway in DC.
