...whose first book, Every Summer After, I'd just finished. We were literally on our way home after returning it to the library. And then I found out Uzma knows author @Sonali_Dev, whose modern, South Asian versions of Jane Austen novels I binged a few months ago.

Tonight my daughter & I stumbled upon a book launch at our much-loved bookstore @QueenBooksTO... and discovered there's a sisterhood of authors of some of my fave books! We met author @UzmaWrites & got a signed copy of her new book, which has an endorsement from @CarleyFortune...

Today, she and her research partner were jointly awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for their research.
