Considering vaccine doesn’t give 100% protection and doesn’t entirely prevent spread, I’m struggling to see the point of vaccine passports

The US will screw this up. There will either be many different "passports" with no interoperability. Or it will become an excuse for wealthier people to act poorly.

Correct me if i’m wrong. But doesn’t Vaccine does prevent mortality but it doesn’t prevent infectiousness? So a vaccinated person still can infect other non vaccinated person?

Poor decision. It strops infection getting worse. Not transmission. Restricted necessary movement till herd immunity is reached.

you just have to do the PCR test before leaving

Would be nice, but the potential for fraud, forgery is high. Selling to highest bidders. They’d have to provide something with a security system on it that is not prone to forgery. Like a watermark, special paper, etc.

I think we should have this on a voluntary basis in the USA. Not to make businesses required to check, but to allow businesses who want to operate safely to do so. It would affect where I took my business.
