Before The Party just won Best LGBT Short at IFS / L.A. Film Fest! 2 years ago, the same fest selected Our Late Father, my first short as writer & lead. No award then—just gratitude. Now, I returned as director & lead—and we won. Thank you so much!

前向きな姿勢は自分に対する愛であり、自信であり、選択&努力だと思う。自然に湧き出る気持ちじゃなくて良くてさ。毎日その時に精一杯のパワーで前向きなチョイスを繰り返す事で成り立つ物だと思うんだ。苦しいし、苛立つ事もあるけれども、それでも笑って、深呼吸して、前を向いて歩きたい。一緒にね!

Unawareness of one's own privilege can be problematic. Acknowledging privilege isn't necessarily tied to feeling it. It's about recognizing the reality. Take a moment to observe before introspection. It's not meant to induce guilt. Let me reiterate, it's about facts, not feelings
