Sad news for all us at Ely Cathedral today as our Dean, The Very Revd Mark Bonney, has announced plans to retire at the end of July 2026. His retirement will mark the close of over 40 years of dedicated ministry, including 14 wonderful years leading the Cathedral community.

Yesterday, at our Remembrance Service, we paused to honour those who gave their lives in times of conflict. As poppies gently fell from the Octagon, we remembered their courage, sacrifice, and the peace they fought to preserve. We will remember them. #lestweforget
