Update: thanks for the help and support the last few days. Your messages got to the right people. The president of @porterairlines called Ken Harrower and apologized for the terrible treatment. They offered to pay for our flights/hotel and offered some compensation for Ken. 1/3

The saga continues! @porterairlines canceled our morning flight and told us to come back this afternoon with no guarantee they’ll let @KenHarrower on with his powerchair as he’s dangerous goods. We’ve been up since 4:30am and are exhausted. Couldn’t make this up if we tried.

Stuck in Calgary until tomorrow. @porterairlines won’t get us a hotel and now we have to hope they let us on the flight tomorrow. This is a terrible way to treat people.

Shame on you @porterairlines you won’t let us on the plane from Calgary with Ken’s power wheelchair despite checking repeatedly ahead of time and being told it was fine and FLYING here two weeks ago with the chair. This is inexcusable.
