Longish intro to a short end; he's going to see his local school. It's a fab school and it should be his first choice of school. He's also going to explore the other schools to make a good choice for his kid; he knows his kid best and we have many choices of schools which is fab

and none of it included anything about public schools. During this chat, a local Montessori teacher ordered her latte and chimed in. Now he had live experts. And he was taking notes. He asked about play, explicit instruction, and Inquiry learning... he was informed ...

Luckily, they were open for a chat. A young dad had done his homework because he was desperate to make a great choice and was filtering it all through his own experience, a very logical thing to do. He talked about how awful school was for him and shared his research...
