I made a blog post about my thoughts on the Cass report discourse going round. https://t.co/SvFKLEv7ZO It looks to be a very biased report that only accepted the findings of 2 out of 103 studies on trans healthcare for teens then said "we couldn't find enough evidence"

Debunkings like this are useful but it saddens me that we still need to use rates of suicidality to convince people that transition is worth it. You don’t have to be suicidal to benefit from transition. The state of empathy saddens me daily in this world.

I continue to think the bigger threat of deepfakes is not in convincing people that fake things are real but in offering plausible suspicion that real things are fake
