Spotted this on a farm in Fermanagh yesterday. Made from an old galvanised sprayer. Holds 1200l. Farmer reckoned it cost him £300 all in. Used on an out farm with no water supply. Wish I was that innovative although still reckon my Sim bull might take it apart

Have read a few times now about people being "astonished" that the agri media have failed to pick up on the DAERA proposal to increase minimum claim size for area payments to 10ha. We are all useless obviously. Three examples of where it is mentioned below

So Minister Poots has confirmed farmers will get an extra 6.29% in their direct payments this year. Worth an average of £800 per farm. Good news as farmers battle rising input costs. First heard the rumour in the mart a month ago. Maybe I need to spend more time there 🤔
