We really don’t need a thousand posts saying the same “Will TCM last?” “Is TCM or DBD better?” “Is TCM too Killer-sided?”
It just came out 😭 and as much as ppl want to compare it to DBD, not every asym game needs to be compared + the vibes are so different.
TCM is fun because its challenging, when you escape as a Victim it feels extra rewarding, when you execute a Victim it feels like you’re playing an important role alongside the other family….
Whys everything gotta be “Killer-sided game!1!1!1!1!11!1!1 Horrible!!!”
@dvveet
So ummm awkward, but genuine question are you trying to police my twitter activity? 👮👀 I like giving my community members a voice, is that so bad? 🙂
@Schmucklesss
No I am not policing anyone, as much as I can say this opinion others can voice their own too that is the beauty of social media - Im just saying TCM is already being oversaturated w unnecessary comparisons to DBD
@dvveet
I really wish I saw more comparisons (healthy ones mind you) to F13 because I think a lot of F13 fans who miss the game really would like to know if TCM has that same charm
@DeadlyNaya
100% , Comparing it to F13 actually makes sense considering its the same developers and does also play the same in some ways.
I’m one of the one playing TCM to feel some nostalgia for F13 and while its definitely not the same (and shouldn’t be) it’s giving me F13 vibes a lot.
@dvveet
the only comparisons you can make are
both are asym horror games
both have leatherface
both have their female killers barefoot
and both have annoying playerbases
@dvveet
There will never be a DBD killer just because of the strenght of licenses and BHVR's contacts. TCM could last, but will never beat DBD just because of behind the scene stuff
@dvveet
Both can co exist! I love dbd but having tcm I can switch too if its a bad dbd day isn't a bad thing. without VHS last year we wouldn't have bhvr pushing out the quality of life updates and stuff like that. Competition in the same space Inspires change. It's healthy
@dvveet
there are so many DBD players that have some deep rooted hatred for TCSM for NO reason. It’s like they’re appalled by the mere idea that some people simply enjoy TCSM more than DBD.
@dvveet
I love TCM so far and I also love DBD. I play both. It’s not that hard to enjoy other asym games other than DBD. In saying that TCM is different than DBD so I don’t see any comparison. Also my wins and losses are 50/50 family and victim so there’s that.
@dvveet
I like being able to play one and if I get tired of it I can go to the other. Now just need killer klowns to release and I’m a happy camper lol
@dvveet
But genuinely is this game killer sided lol?
Because ppl seem to be saying so, but it feels way too easy as a survivor idkkkk
10/10 game, glad the devs don’t want it to be esports-like either
@dvveet
Honestly this might be great for both games and a win-win for players: Everyone who loves DBD because of the horror-focused, casual game it started as can enjoy TCM, & BHVR can go full steam in the direction of the less horror-focused, competitive direction they’ve been going in.
@dvveet
@EpicDaylight
Just as DBD has about a 60% kill rate, I wouldnt be surprised if TCM is similar or even higher.
If you were to experience it in real life, (like in the movie) the odds are you dont escape. The family is dangerous and you are playing on their terms.
