Today we honor Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom, truth, and joyful resilience. On June 19, 1865, news of emancipation finally reached the enslaved in Galveston, TX—two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. #Juneteenth #FreedomDay #BlackHistory
