If you showed this by age it would be very telling…clubs are definitely locking in players until early 30s before last year of contract, and yes there are exceptions

Liverpool v Everton is the first game this season with only 3 minutes added time, happened to be when Liverpool were holding on to a 2-1 lead. 2nd half included 6 subs and 3 yellow cards. When Liverpool have been losing or drawing there has been 5, 7 and 11 added minutes! 🤯

So… The news here is that an Everton player under contract until 2027 with a 12 month extension option in that deal is open to signing a new contract there but Sky have used it as a vehicle to crowbar Liverpool, Man City, Spurs & Real Madrid into the conversation. Clockwork.
