An officer was approached by a male who attempted to steal her marked police car on Victoria St E in Whitby. The male attempted to remove the officer from her vehicle & disarm her. He fled the area in his vehicle, however was arrested a short distance away. Further to follow.

Two males have been charged following an investigation into credit card fraud at a hardware store in Clarington that occurred in May 2024.
Police believe one of the suspects may have defrauded more victims.
