This is indeed extraordinary - to see such high profile discussion of chronic pain (and being Stephen Fry, so funny and gentle) - and with Prof Tracey as a deeply informed interviewer @BCPSBath.
What a huge opportunity it is for us to have Prof Irene Tracey, a neuroscientist with a background in persistent pain, as VC of the University of Oxford. Media breakthroughs like this bring concepts too often the reserve of professional debate into the public consciousness:
