Great work by @dr_benoy_n_shah !! I shudder to think of a similar study in Oncology!! Analysis of conflicts of interest among authors and researchers of European clinical guidelines in cardiovascular medicine

A friend has just shown me this book "Calculus made easy", published in 1914, and I think it's got one of the best prologues I've ever seen. This is *exactly* what textbooks should be doing. And they should all be honest about how terrifying the topic names are too.

A long year comes to an end. Looking through this list there are so many people can’t be replaced. Oddly enough the one that affected me the most was June Benicoff. I hope she’s happy being reunited with Leon!

This is probably the most balanced and fair assessment of the Charlie Teo enigma. “Like shooting Bambi': why Teo critics were gun-shy as media built the miracle-surgeon myth” https://t.co/j1oojipjPh

Charlie Teo's fellow neurosurgeons have been loath to put their names to criticism while shallow journalism exaggerated his life-saving feats.
