As I step into PGY-3, I wanted to pause and reflect — for myself, and for anyone just starting this journey. Whether you’re an incoming intern or halfway through the burnout spiral:.✨ You are not alone. ✨ You are doing better than you think.

You’ll learn to set boundaries, ask for help and trust your gut. You’ll find your people. You’ll become one of them for someone else. And even when you don’t feel like it, you are still enough. Still becoming. Still worthy.

If I could go back to my first day of residency, I wouldn’t give myself study tips or clinical hacks. I’d tell myself this:.You’ll grow in ways that have nothing to do with textbooks. You’ll feel stretched, exhausted, uncertain… but also stronger than you knew possible.
