@dormant000 The commentary on “arranged” marriage is what I think a lot of the people upset about it are missing here. The message isn’t just “marriage and men bad, slay queen”, like the internet led me to believe it was before playing it myself.

@dormant000 It's not actually a forced marriage. This is how Hinako views it throughout most of the game, due to her parents and older sister highly encouraging it. This is why the game isn't woke at all, it's showing a common story of the time.

@dormant000 Plus, the bigger thing isn't the arranged marriage, but the loss of self to society. That "growing up" means you're supposed to give up YOU in order to be what society thinks you're "supposed" to be.
