Poured a lot of heart and soul into this project. Would be nice if this information kick starts the conversation again in the future.
Plans for Kerford Rd have been obtained under FOI, and it looks beautiful https://t.co/CAcBFb3GVs

Has this actually been installed anywhere? I would be keen to see evaluation if so as it scares me.

@AdiTheSaints You mustn't drive Adam. Not a van, not anything, even a vacuum cleaner.

I saw an example of a low traffic street on here somewhere recently that had a good set up of street furniture so one could still drive through in an emergency but you had to drive around things. Cant find it now. Maybe @RantyHighwayman you put it up?

Thom Yorke superb last night at Sidney Myer bowl. If you are in Sydney and get a chance to see him then you should. Not sure you will get too many more opportunities.

Just seeing if anyone has any more updates on these examples. Have some good ones but am building a library of them for projects
Anyone got a good example of a parking pad in an activity centre setting in Australia? Bit like this that used to be outside my old office. Parking meets the footpath and channel remains the same.

Here’s something you don’t see often enough during construction. Good job.

Library and community centre up the road on the left. Signalised crossing on right. Guess where most people cross after coming over the rail bridge? You can’t overcome a desire line despite how it looks on paper.

This is why I push for raised side roads and pockets of protection at turns. We ignore lots of opportunities to slow turning traffic down. Sure people will still do stupid things but if everyone has more time to react it can save lives.
I’m sure all will agree this is absolutely scandalous…… Overtaking the cyclist just before turning left was unacceptable…..

Police departments run marketing campaigns blaming pedestrians for not being visible enough. But they know visibility doesn't slow down drivers. Here's an SFPD speed trap 👇

Was just chatting about this to someone the other day. Do it without seeking all the attention around it. The public outing has gone way too far and it is making it even harder for those of us trying to heal the us v them divide which has been around way too long.
