I know what they mean, but the wording... I paid a *lot* of f-ing tax.

How I can tell they didn't look: "Hey I looked at your website and it's got a great design" No, no it doesn't.

Inspired by the simplicity of @jonomallanyk 's website, I've stripped everything back on https://t.co/4W41PbjNpH to some core info with a little bit of styling applied. Haven't decided what my future looks like when it comes to publishing on the web, I'm trying to reboot.

I can't put my finger on why but I miss the days of using
sketch.com
Sketch puts the focus back on you and your work. Made by designers, for designers.

Ticked off a bucket list item tonight by going to see AC/DC live. Well worth the travel and time to pay tribute to legends.

I’m going to guess that Bluey has the least pressed “Skip Intro” button across all TV services.

It’s amazing how we always go through these cycles. Twitter for X, Uber for Y, now it’s Z with AI. All rather uninspiring and very similar, but eventually the hype will fade and the source of innovation will become more varied again.

Whether you're a TypeScript fan or not, a 10x speed improvement is such a win that everyone benefits from. Always good to see this kind of thing from established tools.

https://t.co/eqT3kxw99P is probably the best piece of technology that I've used regularly in the last couple of years. Unbelievable utility. Even if I'm not writing the final implementation in Elixir it usually starts in Livebook. Kudos @livebookdev team

This totally makes sense to someone. So much of the computing world (at least that I interact with) assumes you're in the US, such a shame.

I think for the first time I actually envy developers who are using VS Code - devcontainers are so good. Need to see if I can bring that level of integration to my current setup (vim)

Doing a bit of real life refactoring (rearranging furniture) and tackling tech debt (cleaning). Feels just as good afterwards as when you do the same with code

Website build switched over to Kamal 2 in about 5 minutes. Good way to get used to the workflow without any other complexities (it's just a static site build behind nginx).

So chuffed that #RailsWorld is going to be back in Amsterdam next year. Thanks for sorting that out for me @AmandaBPerino 😛

Disappointed not be going to #RailsWorld this year because last year was so good. Fingers crossed for a European return next year and I’ll be heading back for sure! Hope everyone has a great time 🙌

I’m a sucker for a programming book. This is going to be a good one with @palkan_tula as the author

I'll do a write-up on what's going on under the hood shortly, but I had fun doing it at least! It's not even doing anything special yet, can definitely enhance it now if needed, but the core functionality is there.
