Over the past week, Direct Relief has delivered 575 shipments of requested medical aid to 47 U.S. states and territories and 15 countries worldwide. The shipments contained 8.9 million defined daily doses of medication.

In response to the recent floods in Texas, Direct Relief delivered emergency medic packs to @TEXSAR1 to assist with search and rescue missions. Designed for rapid response, each pack includes tools for infection control, trauma care, and more.

As new rains complicate search and recovery efforts and expand flooding to new areas, Direct Relief is working to provide first responders and health organizations with support.

In response to the ongoing disaster in Texas, Direct Relief has shipped in the last 30 days, 36 shipments of medicines and supplies have been delivered to 12 organizations in counties now under a state disaster declaration.

Flash flooding continues to threaten Texas, with the death toll rising to 95, including dozens of children. Direct Relief will continue to monitor the situation, in close collaboration with responding organizations, and provide support as needed.
