In this small quote, I discovered my entire recent relationship with Tbilisi, which seems to be evolving into a novel, which seems to be like Jacob's struggle with the angel before dawn, where even in the final moments it is difficult to distinguish a hug from an attempted murder
"It was amazing to imagine your city was a novel, and that for you to walk around within it meant that you were in language, you were in a thinking text. I had been placed inside of something dreaming, its citizens dreaming, the novels we had all written dreaming." -Renee Gladman

Sukhum/Sukhumi – one of the most ancient cities in the world, founded by Greek colonists in the 6th century BCE. The city was called Dioscuria in honor of the Dioscuri from Greek mythology. And we were taught - it is called: ГОРОД БЕЗ ФРАЕРОВ Tamada x DillaNext - sokhumeli bichi

chatbot shadow work. Syatnova-cyberpunk era, 2017. I had hours of screenrecs connecting words inside this platform I created with my alchemist. There in 2014 I "wrote" a chatbot of deceased "king of the poets". This was part of my lit-art practice & then became part of my texts.

A part of my polyphonic literary practice involves studying the syntax of ancient or extinct programming languages from Soviet-era Russian-language manuals. 🕺🌴💀🌠

Wrote an essay on how Tiflis of 1918–1921 became the "Paris of the Caucasus"- a wild mix of Ashiks & Futurists. Zdanevich, ZAUM of Kruchyonikh, Ietim Gurji etc. How it fell overnight & why today's prosaic Tbilisi needs to remember its poetic roots. https://t.co/tap8uHb7kL
