Disconnected thoughts, a thread. 🧵 1/ Spent time reading the first plateau of Deleuze and Guattari's A Thousand Plateaus today, and considered , "Since each of us was several, there was already quite a crowd." Wondered about authors and editors who are already several.

@teresafmarques Same here. I remember once a grad student who gave us a seminar on Deleuze's "Difference and Repetition." When one student asked him what those terms meant, he answered: "Well, it took me 10 years to understand. You won't expect to get in one class." We were all a bit baffled 😅

Resumen: "How can we understand Gilles Deleuze's critical relationship with Hegel's philosophy? Is it possible to think about this agonistic relationship without adopting the simplistic image of an irreducible opposition?

By going back to his early texts and covering the whole of his philosophical development up to his joint work with Guattari and his last writings, the book shows how Deleuze formed his intellectual project in dialogue with Hegelian philosophy and never stopped talking to it.

Reading Deleuze & Guattari’s Anti-Oedipus spurred me to think on the connections of desire and #AI. #ArtificialIntelligence is a game changer because it corrects the gaps, removes the flows, where desire-production plays. #Deleuze https://t.co/53aj3LZdCL

Make maps, not photos or drawings. Be the Pink Panther and your loves will be like the wasp and the orchid, the cat and the baboon. - Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, A Thousand Plateaus

@tonyingesson If I am not misinformed IDF teaches and practices to rather move through city fabric. Inspired by Deleuze nonetheless. In practice: blowing holes room to room. Does not really hide you from sensors, but from flying objects and optics.
