I am really excited to have been a co-author of two chapters of the 2nd Edition of the textbook, Forensic Investigation: Legislative Principles and Investigative Practice. I hope that this textbook will serve as a valuable reference for investigators.

The simple reality is that as cool as DF/IR sounds, it is honestly not for anyone. There are consequences from the work we do. I once had a digital forensics university student complain because I swore in class, to which my response was, of this offends, then DFIR is not for you.

After years of research, I am handing in my PhD thesis for examination. Its been a journey in which I have grown. It’s not over yet, and it does not matter if I pass or fail, as I have built something that will hopefully advance the profession of digital forensics worldwide.
