I was privileged to dive at the East Pacific Rise hydrothermal vents yesterday. Words cannot describe how awesome the thriving communities are at this site, Tica. These fields of sulfide spires and Riftia tubeworms (and Rufus the eelpouts) are unforgettable. I love the deep sea.

Had an amazing time at #CBE7 in Brazil presenting the work at vents and seeps I’ve done with @LarvalLab! . My new advisor @ColdDarkBenthos also attended and participated in “the passing of the Dexter” between labs. So excited to start my master’s this fall! I love this community.
