This is such a weird take Ekow.
They're doing their bit to support their team. They are not the contestants.
I don't know about you, but I have been in situations where I have studied hard & STILL asked family to support me through prayer.
And the lyrics... lmao. He said “I will buy mama a crib” and he was pointing at the jubilee house building... 3nti Jubilee House y3 crib ma wo Meek Mill? 😂😂
Love this.
Summary:
1. Every money has both seed & bread.
2. The bread is for today & seed for tomorrow
3. Be fair on yourself with the bread for today.
4. Be disciplined with the seed for tomorrow.
5. Every seed is small.
Managing your personal finances also includes “enjoying life”; taking care of yourself; doing things you love.
Buy that book, go on the trip, buy that gadget, get that frontal , hangout with friends. Spend on memories.

I’m not sure the people in relationships have actually asked their partners what they bring to the table.. 🤣🤣🤣 because why would you enter a relationship if you don’t know your partner’s worth???
The main part of the video is that the real value of people's income has diminished, whether they're “lower, middle or upper class” doesn't change the fact. But you will find people who will still miss the point.
Currently, people looking for short term investments can consider treasury bills. Rates are good. From what I have seen, with GHS >1K you can buy from most banks.
Alternatively, people with GHS 20-50 & above looking to invest can consider the unit trust & mutual funds... 1/n
Super super good news! I have been able to download the audio from my spaces conversations on

Money may not be the most important thing, but it definitely affects the important things in your life… Wishing you all pleeeeennnty, excessss, abuuuuuundant miracle money this week! 💯
NSS starting tomorrow!
My little financial advice:
“Don’t listen to people who tell you to spend all your allowance because it’s small. Start building the savings/investment attitude. Even if it’s GHS 20 or GHS 30 you can invest every month do it! It would go a long way!
If you’re interested in getting a mortgage in Ghana, do have a look at your possible monthly repayments and total interest payments using a 15 year period.
My friends and i (all qualified) want to start an ACCA and ICA class to help students at ridiculously low fees(to cover our costs). Kindly RT/DM so we have an idea of the number of people interested and how we can support them. Thanks
We’re hosting a space next Tuesday at 8pm with

I just finished taking a client through her small business finances. On the face of it, she thought she was making GHS 20 profit on each item. After our conversations, she realized her real profit was GHS 4.37.
I’m sure many small businesses are in similar situations.
I did this budget for a hypothetical person earning 4k monthly based on the (50:30:20 principle). You can adjust it to suit your needs and income levels.
On a more serious note though, regardless of how much you earn:
1. Put some aside for the future (save/invest).
2. Rem’ber to do
#1
BEFORE you spend.
3. Draw a realistic budget & stick to it.
4. Live within your means (appreciate you have unlimited wants & yet scarce resources)
I always say this: START INVESTING FOR THE FUTURE:
How?
Open multiple Fixed Income Unit Trust:
Name it accordingly:
Fixed Income 1- Marriage Account
Fixed Income 2- Children Fees
Fixed Income 3- Health & Emergency
etc..
Even if it’s 20ghs or 50ghs starting investing it!
I’m here to remind you that:
1. Make (MORE) money
2. Manage your finances
3. Treasure every pesewa you make
4. Let your money work for you!
5. Control your debt
6. Plan for your retirement

Dealing with Rent payments🇬🇭:
Many of us are usually worried (& why not, rent prices are ridiculous especially in Accra) when our rent is almost due and we have to make a lump sum payment usually for the next year… Here’s some tips to help you navigate this..

People earn waaaaaay less in this country and still pay taxes. You don't want your income not to be taxed because “it's just $500!” ( GHS 7k+ ) How many people earn half of that…???
On a more serious note though, regardless of how much you earn:
1. Put some aside for the future (save/invest).
2. Rem’ber to do

I think one of the major reasons is black tax. Once people, especially family, get to know your salary, they inadvertently change their expectations of you.
With regards to friends and others usually it creates unnecessary competition/envy/ pressure from either side.
