Love & Learning starts at HOME ❤️🏡 I’m learning homeschooling isn’t a program, it’s💧POURING- Creating a pour of LOVE & knowledge, a steady flow that’s never ending. Like fatherhood, it’s an ALL DAY occurrence. My son reminds me He’s the priority, the world is the minority.

Place of Grace created an opportunity not only for their members, but the entire community, working with businesses and other churches to volunteer their time to ❤️ LOVE on the community.

Using this time to take him with to serve was one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had with him. He was right there next to us, hand selecting produce. Bagging. Helping arrange tables. Carrying Boxes. He was so excited to help..

It was a beautiful experience to see the thought and care from everyone who gathered to serve their community. So many people working together in tandem to help others. One of Sophia’s greatest desires is that our son be aware of others in need.

What I love about Sophia is she woke up with the mindset that we need to stop what we’re doing and go down there. Being able to participate in this event, while remembering the Twix Bars and Tang I would find in the groceries my mom received when I was a kid meant a lot to me.

My wife, my son, and I went to be a BLESSING and ended up being BLESSED by those we were serving. 🙌🏿 This morning when I woke up, I was focused on things I wanted to finish. Sometimes your mind is focused on making it instead of stopping and helping, reflectingBeing GRATEFUL.

I pray that all families hug each other tight. If you have a full table, find somebody to bless- even if it’s a neighbor you’ve never spoke to. If you don’t have anything this Thanksgiving, that next Thanksgiving when your table is full- you’ll share with somebody.

You may equate THINGS with being FULL- but moments like today are what fill your heart and soul. ❤️ Thank you to my wife Sophia, for getting me out of the house and having the great instinct to go serve our community. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to go down and give.

Happy Thanksgiving I wanted to speak to you from the heart on our experience Tuesday. It was a powerful and emotional moment. When I was a little kid, my mom used to get help with groceries from church, and to be here today serving my community is a real touchstone in my life.

Under normal conditions relationships & marriages take work. There's a parable of two families: one built on rock, the other on sand. They both face hurtful words, financial challenges, loss, COVID 19, all types of fear. But only one withstood the storm. The one built on rock.
