@davidfrum We vote as citizens of our respective states, hence the electoral college. 312 > 226 by a landslide.

@davidfrum There has not been a landslide since 1984 .... that's the longest such stretch in American history...

@davidfrum Even in 2020, Trump still received more EC votes than the author of .107 BAC Kamala Harris received in her trouncing. Our country has no popular vote, as the EC is based on the individual states and how they vote.

@davidfrum To be fair, it did feel like that. Trump's pop vote % increased by nearly 4% from 2016/2020 to 2024 (and after Jan 6th). Part of my reasoned prediction for 2024 was Trump's pop vote was low in both 2016/2020. I was shocked it jumped up as it did. It shows what a terrible

@davidfrum Nigga he won the popular vote, this isn't 1985 anymore, neocons like yourself have already flooded the country with browns. Republicans have won a landslide with heritage Americans in every election for decades now.

@davidfrum Degree of difficulty and obstacles overcome play a big role in perception of achievement. By 2024, no other candidate for president had been indicted 91 times and nearly murdered on stage before the election.

@davidfrum Yeah, the idea that you think Biden received 51% of the vote pretty much make your opinion moot.

@davidfrum Get a brain. What happened to the 18 million extra voters that Biden had that magically disappeared. You have to be a complete moron not to see the obvious

@davidfrum Trump won counties that have never been won by a republican since the late 1800s. His electoral college win margin was the largest since 1988 He flipped the youth and latino voters. He's also the first republican to win the popular vote in 20 years. Cope harder.

@davidfrum Every election a tie election, but policies swing wildly back and forth. How about a centrist candidate (either party) who wins 60% and actually unifies the country?

@davidfrum Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist or election denier, but I still find it hard to believe that 49.7 % of voters actually voted for Trump.
