Dr. Levin-Aspenson is a valued and well-respected member of our department. This guy tried to call our dean to ask for her to be "educated about the implications of (her) behavior," which from what I understand is liking tweets that are critical of his behavior. Ridiculous.
Just a warning that this targeted harassment of (primarily women and early career) researchers extends to anyone (but let's face it, primarily women and early career folks) who even just likes posts that support the people he's harassing. Removed/blocked/reported--stay strong!

I wonder how many of the right wing complaints about academia are like this. The dispute was a small part of the paper, and not something the paper could even address. Hard to do science with collaborators who throw around accusations like this.
This is how I feel. I recently had to decline an author byline in a manuscript submission because the honest pursuit of the truth did not matter to the authors.
