Fuck, I just auto-paid for another year of @cursor_ai 😅 So I won't need to close all my 3 Cursor windows 😁 So I really hope during this year team focuses on quality, not on quantity. There are enough tools to generate code, I need better tool to control it

But seems like Cursor team goes opposite direction talking the Plan mode as their main feature. I can plan myself. Make IDE execute that plan and listen to my commands. It can't be trusted fully on something that is not a basic CLI tool.

However, it adds tests, new components, runs ton of code when I don't ask it to! I am inside IDE I prefer to see less code and wait less for agentic tasks. Not overdoing things seems like an obvious requirement The less code it produces the less I need to review. Do less!

Sadly Cursor became the most dumb tool in my coding stack Seems like vibe coding is the #1 audience for all ai coding tools. For coding agents I use claude code and codex. I need @cursor_ai for focused fixes which I explicitly ask.
