(4) Don't get me wrong, reducing the reliance of SMS as a 2FA method is a good goal, but if it comes at the cost of people having the ability to use 2FA it's a step back.

(3) Twitter is now pushing all of them, that don't have a paid membership, to move to a different authentication method.
