@dantencer *should be max 30 seconds. Challenges were put in to fix egregious calls not whether a play was 1mm offside. If you’re not sure in 30 seconds then leave it, we don’t want to get rid of goals.

@dantencer In my opinion, the linesmen took so long because they were looking for a reason to convince themselves that it was offside. I should take no more than 2minutes, if you still can't make a call, the call on the ice stands.

@dantencer It would be fun if there was a 60 second timer. (Of course, if you are team wanting a bad call overturned, that would be tough.)

@dantencer Sixty seconds. If you can't tell in sixty seconds whether a play is offside or not, then the call on the ice stands. And watch it at live speed. No more going to replays for 15 minutes to determine, at 1/32nd live speed, whether a play was one millimeter offside.
