Over and above the player being clearly pushed in - the goalie is recovered and fully square to the following shot. He allows a bad rebound and the goal is scored. Being fully recovered and square to the next shot has to qualify a goal, I’d think.

I said this for years. The head ref should have to have a press conference too. Next CBA if I was the PA I would fight for that. Don’t think you can because of two separate associations but I would push hard

I agree about Kane being pushed in. I don’t see how anyone would look at that fairly and say Kane skated into Stalock on his own.
But if Stalock doesn’t have time to collect his stick, I would say that muddied the “fully recovered” water

Plus you know the ref called goal and then they lied about it after the fact, denied the challenge and then called a misconduct to make it a 5-3.
