In 2005-06 everyone recognized that the Heat were Wade's team and Shaq was no longer prime dominant Shaq. Even Shaq acknowledged that. Steph is still the best player on his team. LeBron is not. Why are so many calling this LeBron vs Curry when in reality it's Curry vs AD?
@danderson711
I see LeBron playing off the ball more. Something he hasn't done since he was in Miami. Only now, he probably has more playmakers playing with him than he did back then. He never had a lot of skills off the ball outside of cutting to the basket though.
@danderson711
LeBron is still the best player on his team. He dictates what happens in the game. While the record is nearly identical, I would argue the lakers are better in games without AD vs games without LBJ
@danderson711
AD isn’t a consistent number 1 option on a Championship team. He’s great most of the time but has games where he’s not there. Lebron is pretty much Lebron every game.
@danderson711
Well... when the Heat and Lakers played on Christmas Day for a few years, it was Shaq vs Kobe, not Wade vs Kobe. If they had met in the Finals during Shaq's Heat tenure, it would have been treated that way too, don't you think?
@danderson711
Because media and fans want to market this rivalry. You're right 38 year old Lebron shouldn't be the best player on his team, AD should be. And yet because AD is so inconsistent he still averages the same PPG as 38 yo Lebron (Both 22.1 PPG). AD's not an alpha, that's the issue.
@danderson711
Because LeBron hasn’t scored less than 10 points in decades and AD has almost done it 3 times the last month… with 12, 13, 11…. AD peak is the best player, but you know what you’re getting from Bron. Lay off his cack already weirdo
