"Scottie Pippen led the Bulls to 55 wins when MJ retired."
NO
Pippen inherited a 3 time championship core that added Toni Kukoc and Steve Kerr and couldn't get out of the 2nd round, and a year and a half after MJ was gone Pippen's Bulls were barely above .500.
That's better..
@danderson711
First of all he was part of the 3peat champs, he didnt inherit shit. They got cheated game 7 vs Knicks thats not merely not getting passes the second round.
@danderson711
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣the disrespect pippen was first team all NBA all defense all star game MVP finished 3rd in the MVP voting and was a bad call from the east finals can't discredit him 🤣🤣
@danderson711
We have so much evidence of lebron teams without lebron, tell me of one bron team without lebron that was a bad call alway from the conference finals 🤣
@jdyarg34
Pippen didn't leave MJ a championship level team. MJ was drafted to a 27 win team and had to train Pippen into becoming a solid number 2.
Causation doesn't equal correlation. MJ never won a title without wearing the number 23 or without having a shaved head either.
✌️
@LBSure1
This is for the "MJ didn't get out of the 1st round without Pippen" crowd.
And Pippen couldn't fill the role of MJ after inheriting a championship core.
@danderson711
Pippen was a main component to the 3 time championship core, as was MJ. He didn’t really inherit it. When ever you remove the best offensive option on a team it is going to struggle. The fact they got to the 2nd round is a testament to how good that team was..
@danderson711
Two things about this (one for each side). First, the '94 Bulls got absolutely screwed against the Knicks in Round 2 with the H. Davis touch foul deal (I'm a Knicks fan saying this!). Second, for various reasons overall NBA talent in '94 began a decline, made it a bit easier CHI
@RDTUniverse
I'm not debating the bullsht comment about the talent.
If not for Kukoc's heroics in Game 4 and Derek Harper being suspended that could have easily been a 5 game Knicks series.
