DAY 1 OF EXPLORING dApps. Today's focus is BASE @base One of the perks of learning about Web3 with @shefiorg was being onboarded on the Base App. A web3 social application launched by @coinbase in July. As an early user, here are some things I've learnt about this dApp.

2. BASE is what I call an "All in one" app. So if you are a creator, founder, developer, trader or just a regular yapper, come close because this is for you. BASE is built on Ethereum, the super chain and champions the creator economy by bringing the world onchain.

3. Key features include; - BASE wallet: Upon sign up, a wallet is allocated to the user which can be used to send, recieve, save and trade crypto. This wallet address also serves as the only form of identity required for sign up.

4 - Social feed: BASE social feed interface is very much like that of X, except that posts are powered by @zora. This means that each content posted is tokenized and can be bought and traded by anybody. The number of holders of the coin/token increases the liquidity.

5. -Mini apps: These are dApps built on Base. They range from exchanges, to AI assistance to games to communities and entertainment hubs. Every user has access to each of these applications and can also earn from using them.

6. - Rewards & Leaderboard: What is a creator economy without Rewards? Base rewards every user in USDC, based on their engagements on the app regardless of the following. Rewards are airdropped every Wednesday directly into each creators/users wallet.

7. -Browser: This feature enables users to connect to websites and access links through the app. Generally speaking, the Base App is an excellent use case of blockchain technology, upholding the concept of decentralisation which gives ownership back to the users.
