Not really, I agree he needed to be upgraded, but putting him into the same bracket as Hojilund is just incorrect. He was a youth graduate who contributed 20+ and had scored in cup finals, he's exactly what the Carrington-addicts seem to care most about.

Garnacho registered 21 GA in his final season at United, he was the second highest contributor in the team. He was the second highest contributing teenager in Europe, behind Yamal. Narrative is mental
People don’t seem to understand the amount of damage Hojlund and Garnacho have done to Marcus Rashford’s UTD career.

Javier Hernandez To most, a decent United striker, however when he started, he was useless, was marked out of every game and made no impact. As a sub, impacted most games he arrived in. It's the exact same story for Sesko, Carrick has found a way to use him that is working.

A player scoring doesn't mean it's the correct decision to start them. Sesko has looked useless when he's started, he barely affects the game because he's easy to read. Using him as an impact sub is allowing him much more space when games are stretched. Carrick is correct.
If this doesn't work, it's a black mark against Carrick. Whereas if he picked Sesko, learning from the last game, even if it doesn't work, at least he would have tried something different. Not sure if this is a gamble or stubbornness. Just pray it works.

The squad isn't good enough to go and dominate games. Amorim's system, when played correctly, is a dominant system. Carrick, like every manager, has realised very quickly that a core group that includes Maguire & Dalot is incapable of playing a dominant system.

We beat teams who let us play kick and rush football. We’ve done it for the better part of a decade now. As soon as teams don’t allow that we’re legitimately one of the worst coached teams in the league. Until this fanbase accept the growing pains that come with change, this wont

Now everyone hates Carrick because he didn’t start Sesko. Are you telling me that you’ll hate the next manager if he didn’t start the player you wish him to start?

Easily the best signing.

very nice counter-attack, It does show that literally nothing has changed and the only way we can beat lower-table teams is by counter-attacking, as we aren't capable of beating a press. Sesko as impact makes a lot more sense

Best keeper I’ve seen in United colours.
🚨 Rio Ferdinand: “People hype Raya, I just laugh. I watched De Gea stop a Suarez point-blank volley. That’s not goalkeeping, that’s sorcery. Reflexes, positioning, madness. Put De Gea in Arsenal & he’s collecting Ballon d’Or votes, not sympathy tweets.” https://t.co/v0R44tKfDM

The fanbase failed him.
Beckham🗣️: Pogba was incredible at Manchester United when he played with freedom, confidence, and personality. The guy dominated the midfield with strength, technique, and charisma. https://t.co/jk2qM0T5Gc

United really hurt you didn’t they.
12 most overhyped PL players ever: - Jaap Stam: Only 79 PL games for Utd before Fergie sold him. - Paul Scholes: Zero impact for England; retired by Lampard/Gerrard at 29. - David Beckham: Flopped at Real Madrid; not missed by Utd. - Eric Cantona: Never performed in Europe or

Were 6 points off with our entire right hand side away at Afcon. His team had created the most chances and most big chances in the league at the time he was sacked. We were perfectly capable of finishing in a champions league spot when Amorim was sacked stop talking bollocks.
If Michael Carrick gets Man United back to UCL football then he should stay beyond this season. After the start we had under Ruben Amorim, i am certain no United fan envisaged we would be in the UCL qualification conversation at this point of the campaign If we can’t get Luis

Always wanted Job from Borough, loved Jason Euall, I loved young Ndidi and thought he would’ve been awesome. Hasslebank and Gudjohnson from Chelsea as well
What player/players back in the day did you think “he’d have been brilliant at United” Maybe not totally obvious ones per se Always felt Jermaine Defoe would have been electric for us and for some weird reason always fancied Tim Cahill as a United player

He’s been a 7/8 And that’s with a unfit midfield and wingback/fullback pairing. Class is permanent

Bruno Fernandes is Bryan Robson without the consistent injuries. He’s better. I dare a single United fan to try it

There are United fans that wanted one of fletchers kids to start over him
Bruno Fernandes has created 78 chances in the Premier League this season, more than any other player across Europe’s top five leagues. Played deep in midfield in a struggling team for most of the season and STILL he tops the chart. 🤯
