🇪🇸Gastro Dietitian at Bradford🇬🇧 Special interest in coeliac disease 🏨
Joined January 2014
Really glad to have made an appearance on @BBCNews and @BBCSpotlight today to raise awareness of how the price of gluten free food is impacting people living with coeliac disease. More people are taking risks and not following the diet because they feel they can't afford it.

It was great to co-author this paper with some fantastic dietitians. This is a really practical paper highlighting dietary modifications for diarrhoea in different medical conditions ⬇️⬇️
💥 New article from @hmstaudacher and team exploring dietary modifications in non-IBD diarrhoea 💩 👏 The articles covers a range of interventions including restriction of nutrients (e.g low fat diet), other food components (eg gluten free diet) as well as whole diet

Love this quote via @MagnusSimren "Gastroenterologists should treat not only #IBS, but the entire individual. A diet that reduces IBS symptoms but at the same time causes other risk factors to develop does not help patients." Read more:
