Good article, @Toon_Dreessen, but fact check - Toronto has issued nearly 900 garden suite permits, plus hundreds more laneway suites. Substantially more than six have been built!

Garden suite amendments are coming, with the reintroduction of angular planes both sides. If they call it a "roof slope" instead of an "angular plane", does that circumvent the Planning Act? I'm actually a fan of the concept, but dislike the execution.
