The current JC grading system makes no sense. Only about 3% of students get Distinction (90% +) whereas 15% or more LC students get H1 (90%) in the same subject.
Teachers have complained about Junior Cycle grades for years. Good to see students speaking up, hope the new Minister for Ed & her Dept will listen to them. #edchatie It's really demotivating': Students campaign to change new Junior Cycle grading system https://t.co/4ZRRGKTXeM

It’s official, the 1926 census will be released on April 18, 2026. This is a long awaited announcement for many historians, amateur and professional alike. It’ll also offer another option for a digital archive for LO 1.8 #jchist #histchatie

5th Year History hosted an Anglo-Irish Treaty dinner party this morning. Place settings were very interesting as were the things we possibly overheard between the attendees. #History #histchatie #edchatie

So, we've just passed 25,000 names from the 1821 Census of Ireland available in the Virtual Treasury. Freely available to researchers, 24/7, anywhere in the 🌍. Nice... 😀
