Around 3:30am, CSPFD responded to a report of smoke in the area of 5400 Godfrey Road. Upon arrival, crews located a fully engulfed 2 story home. No one was home at the time of the incident. Crews are still on scene putting out hotspots. The cause is still under investigation.

Expect some delays in the area due to this incident. Thankfully no one was seriously injured.
🚨TRAFFIC ALERT 🚨Hillsboro Blvd. is shut down just east of Nob Hill Road in Parkland until further notice. An investigation is under way due to a small plane landing. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes. Media may contact @CoralSpringsFD for info.

Great job to the crews of Station 43 for helping rescue an individual who was stuck in their attic for hours. Crews were able to free the weak patient and safely lower him back through the attic door. The patient was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

We are praying for a speedy recovery!
At approximately midnight on August 12, a Polk County Fire Rescue ambulance was involved in a single-vehicle accident. Four members of PCFR were transported to a local medical facility.

Today we celebrated Captain Joe Russoniello’s final shift after 30 years of dedicated service with the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department. We are truly thankful for Captain Russoniello’s leadership, commitment and service and wish him a very happy and healthy retirement. 👏
