Every time I post some peaceful and happy scene reflecting earlier modes of American life, the agitating responses are predominantly about the lack of diversity. Why is this?

I think the issue is that this “wholesome” painting doesn’t accurately reflect life at the time. It’s an homage to a time that never actually existed.
@micha2589
It existed. Within my grandparents lifetime. It still does in some areas. And journals and diaries and letters and books from the time all describe such a life. To deny its existence is actually kind of insane
@contramordor
You were posting it as an alternative to a brown rapper and a symphony performing baby got back - which you condemned. You condemned the thing with the brown people dancing and praised the thing with no brown people.
@contramordor
It's called a Freudian slip. They know that our civilization is declining because of their views and policies but they have too much pride to admit it and change course, so the second anyone on the right mentions anything even vaguely talking about how the West is declining they…
@contramordor
Marxism! Very simple.
Just started reading reading the Age of Entitlement by Christopher Caldwell, and it's apparent that liberalism could never withstand the wiles of Marxism. Post WWII everything we see happening today was inevitable.

There are a lot of socially isolated, miserable dudes on the left, and as a coping mechanism, many have appointed themselves Defenders of the POC. It's basically a very lonely man's cry for help.
