One faculty member (L Gaafar, engineering) says if they had to choose to be w students w masks on (not recognizing them) versus meet on Zoom and see their faces, he would choose Zoom! And the affordance of accessibility to students of being online #CLTSymposium @CLTAUC

Hyflex: Make sure you keep track of which students you are interacting with and asking (keep a roster) - make intentional effort to draw in both in-person AND online students and use breakouts so they interact with each other Says Brian Beatty @CLTAUC #CLTSymposium

Brian Beatty recommends checking out Eric Whittaker's "virtual choir" (probably really hard to do!) e.g. there are lots of online art classes then it is possible! even if it was difficult to imagine before @CLTAUC #CLTSymposium
