@cloti_s I think it's both her having a stronger mental strength (despite her doubts) and also the planet protecting her Anyone who has done any form of martial arts would know, it's not just about training your body, but your mind as well

@cloti_s i'd say so. she trained in martial arts, and not only does that train you physically, but it also strengthens u mentally. and as shown in totp, she went thru what is probably the most incredibly stressful period in her life only as a teen and still emerged victorious.

@cloti_s My main theory since OG has been that Aerith facilitated them in the LS so that they didn’t get Mako poisoning. Then again Zack in CC didn’t after 4 years exposure, so strong mental resilience could be a form of resistance.

@cloti_s imo other than she's mentally strong, the weapon protected her the whole time. that's why after seph attack she got "poisoned" and the weapon return her already in bad condition. however this also to "prepare" her for next part.

@cloti_s I think it's also because both times she was protected? 🤔 First time by the weapon, 2nd time by Cloud, they shield her from getting Mako poison 🤔

@cloti_s I feel like growing up so close to mount nibel and that mako reactor maybe helped build a tolerance up

@cloti_s There’s the thing about SOLDIER candidates having to be mentally strong to go through the process. This is why Cloud didn’t make it in the program, even though he was physically very capable. Zangan comments on Tifa’s mental fortitude when she’s young so it might play a part.

@cloti_s It might depend on how long they were exposed too. Like with Jessie's dad, Biggs mentioned that he wasn't found until hours later after he fell in mako

@cloti_s I’ve always felt it made sense for Aerith to be helping protect her mind in the OG. But perhaps Tifa is. If so, then I hope they make it very clear in part 3. Seems like she can just swim around in it which is wild.

@cloti_s Not sure if drinking the mako water since they were kids had anything to do with but also Tifa is mentally strong after years of training in martial arts
