Founder and former Chairman of Capital and Credit Financial Group, Ryland Campbell, has died. He died last night after a brief illness. A gentleman and fine Jamaican business leader. He was NNN's first Chairman. Of impeccable integrity and character. We'll miss Mr. Chairman.

I don't think Ryland ever recovered from the loss of Capital and Credit that he practically built from scratch. A particular conversation I had with him some months after the takeover revealed how hurt and disappointed he felt about the way the whole thing fell apart.....

I echo your sentiments. My Boss and Mentor who guided me in the art of Credit Financing, People Management... A former Teacher with a great command of the English Lang & the Jamaican dialect. A great Humanitarian!!!!

Everyone who knew him said he was a good guy. Condolences to family, friends, business community, and those he assisted. We hope the medical corner's can disclose the cause of death, as many death certificates in the region appear to be known for an unexplained cause of death
