CHS will have a traditional, in-person graduation on June 4. The ceremony will be outdoors, and the location is to be announced, according to Dean Marci Tuzinsky.

Swift reiterates that the AAPS is planning for a full five-day-a-week in-person return for fall 2021. There will be no hybrid instruction plan but families still have a choice of a fully virtual learning program if desired.

Superintendent Swift clarifies standardized tests are "opt-in". "The focus of our teachers and our teams really must be around teaching and learning, both for those in-person and in virtual," Swift said. "We want to minimize disruptions to that very critical instructional time."

Due to the delayed return to hybrid, in-person learning, classes on April 8 and 9 will now be held synchronously, 9th grade orientation is postponed to April 22 and 23 and standardized testing dates are pushed back to April 27 - 29. (2/2)
