David Lammy was right in 2020 when he called the jury system fundamental to our constitution. Now the government wants to remove juries from all but the most serious cases. It is dangerous and wrong and the Prime Minister must reverse it.

The wisdom of the world is written down in books — knowledge and culture and history. Each time I open a book I think of its previous owners. In this case it was David Holditch, one of the book’s editors. Maybe 40 years from now another signature will decorate the fly leaf.

‘Repost’ if you want the alleged antisemitism from the leader of the Reform Party investigated by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). ‘Like’ if you feel Reform should be held to exactly the same level of scrutiny that they’d insist apply to every other party.

The Prime Minister just told me any party leader should want to get to the bottom of this Russian bribery scandal with Reform. He is the Prime Minister and a party leader. Why isn't he launching a national investigation himself?
