The new Netflix series #WaveMakers is a MUST SEE for all people interested in #Taiwan ’s electoral democracy. It provides a very accurate and entertaining window towards the daily lives of Taiwanese political campaigners in the run up to a presidential election.

@che_huai @che_huai This series ( #WaveMakers ) reminds me " #Queenmaker " series of #Netflix , I think Taiwan's side should be more unique to tell its own democratic story.

@alidemmr1 Agree, though I would say the Taiwan series is more down to earth and focused on the actual campaigners. Also with more of a unique progressive Taiwanese politics element.

@che_huai I especially like the way the characters speak, just like how your everyday Taiwanese would speak.

@che_huai I discovered the series last night, and I was wondering what was the Mandarin title, the Spanish one kind of sounds not right

@che_huai the show was able to portray something that is truly inspirational - a Taiwanese political environment not dominated by the China issue but by actual policy platforms
