If Mardi Gras Indian Music pays homage to the ancestors of the Black Masking Indians of New Orleans, DJ shub pays homage to the music and culture of the First Nation Pow Wow groups on unceded land in Canada.

While touring Canada last summer, we collaborated with legendary First Nation Pow Wow Groups on their unceded land. We developed a deep love and appreciation for the spiritual and cultural message in their music.
