Had a very interesting NFL week visting the Giant/Jet practices. I first was a guest of Jet HFC Aaron Glenn at the Jet facility then was a guest of Giant HFC Brian Daboll. Both organizations treated me greatly. Thanks to all. Special shoutout to Tim McDonnell for setting it up.

Even though I have lived in Florida for over 10 years, my favorites beaches still reside in NJ. For all of those who haven’t visited the Jersey shore, you don’t know what you are missing.

When NFL rookies get indoctrinated, people often discuss a learning curve. Although true, are the vets going thru the same learning curve? Are they new to the team? Is the head coach new? Are the coordinators new? YES answers minimize how far the rookies are actually behind.

Don't get too excited about draft grades until a few years have passed. Have you ever heard a team say they weren't excited about their choice who they loved and had rated much higher, lol? Congrats to all. Time to go back to the free agent list to fill what is missing.

Although I'm a Dart guy, everyone knows Sanders can play. My hope and educated guess is that is on Day 3, Shedeur will land with a strong veteran head coach like Tomlin or Carroll where he can develop and get ready to play when needed.

Insider information that is published usually is out there intentionally regarding the NFL draft. Teams gain nothing from telling analysts what their plans are, but they do gain from using them as a disguise.

NFL draft week. I keep reading how teams have certain grades on players. News flash. Teams do not give out their grades on players. They don't give out intel, they gather it. For the analysts who say they know grades and rounds teams' grades are, then are not truthful.

Leave it to Jeremy Fowler to assume Dart's status has diminished because he isn't going to Green Bay for draft night for the NFL Dog & Pony show. Would you rather be in the green room in Green Bay or at home with all the people who matter in your life? Vontae Mack no matter what!

For all of you who follow the NFL, let me tell you what goes on a week from now the day after round 1. Preparing for rounds 2 & 3, you would be amazed how much work takes place starting as round 1 ends. Restacking the board, trade interest, phones ringing. Less time to choose.

While most of the Ole Miss draft talk surrounds Dart, there are several Day 1 & 2 players in this draft. Offensive skill players begin with Tre Harris. DL begin with Walter Nolan. Trey Amos at corner. Chris Paul at LB. TE, Kicker, & OL Day 3. Big year for rebels in the draft.

I have a few Jaxson Dart questions. What is "polarizing about him?" Dumb question by me, but even dumber comment by analysts. And who are all these so called gurus who evaluate QB's? I either never heard of them or have no idea why they believe they are qualified.

2 weeks from tonight, the NFL Draft kicks off a 3 day marathon with round 1. Quit listening to analysts and mock draft updates. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Everyone knows the players for rounds 1-3. Where assistant coaches and scouts earn their money is day 3. Rounds 4-7!

Every year, I study the draft eligible QB's physical traits and game tape realizing that I don't know the players personally. It amazes me how many people believe they know where someone should be drafted without complete knowledge of the player. Ignore their analysis! I do.

I looked at the 20-9 score and I wondered if in the Giant vs Packers game, the Giants missed the extra point or kicked two field goals. I then realized it was the Yankees vs the Brewers. Judge only hit 3 HR's plus a double and knocked in 8 runs. 3 of 9 HR's the Yanks hit. WOW!
